I’m, Lindsay Couture

I’m proudly imperfect, often passionate, and always real. A complex human? Absolutely. But then again, aren’t we all?

A Bit About Me

I’m no stranger to the messy side of life — I’m a big feeler. I care deeply, sometimes too much. I’m raw, real, and I don’t believe in pretending like everything is okay. I have no problem calling things out, especially when something doesn’t sit right with me. I know what it’s like to hurt, to feel like I’m not enough, like nothing I do will ever be good enough. I’ve hit my rock bottom, and for a while, it felt more like home than anywhere else.

But I also know what it feels like to rise, to fight for something better. To confront the pain and emotions of my past and do the hard, uncomfortable, messy work of healing. For me, it meant facing the trauma I had lived through, piece by piece — learning to make sense of it rather than running from it or trying to numb it. It meant challenging the story I had been told about myself and discovering a version of life I didn’t think was possible.

Why, Let’s Talk About It, Lindsay?

Let’s Talk About It, Lindsay explores the intersections of mental health, trauma, and societal systems. I created this space to challenge the norms we’ve been taught to accept and to question the outdated frameworks shaping how we understand ourselves and each other. I’m here to have real, raw, and unfiltered conversations that invite deep reflection and personal growth. Mental health isn’t just about diagnoses or treatment plans—it’s about the complexity of the human experience. It’s about the pain, survival, resilience, and everything in between.

By breaking down these barriers and challenging societal expectations, we open the door to rethinking what it means to heal, to struggle, and to live authentically. Let’s Talk About It, Lindsay is a space where vulnerability is met with empathy, complexity is welcomed, and every story matters.

Together, we can shift the way we view mental health and the systems that impact it.
